Subject: MCP Pro not working with MSFS 2020 and PMDG 737

Hi
I am using a PC running Windows 10 with MSFS 2020 and the PMDG 737. I have two GoFlight devices: an MCP Pro and an EFIS, both of which worked fine with FSX in the past. I installed GIT MSFS, and now the EFIS works correctly, but the MCP Pro does not: the displays are black, and the knobs and buttons are unresponsive.
After reading the manuals and forums, I checked and tried several things:

I launched both MSFS and GIT as administrator, with no success.
I verified that EnableDataBroadcast=1 is present in the 737_Options.ini file (see attached).
I confirmed that the pollypotsoftware-flightsimio-module is present in Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\community (see attached).
Both devices (EFIS and MCP Pro) are connected to USB 2.0 ports (I tried changing ports, but it had no effect).
I previously installed GoFlight drivers (GFConfigSetup_2_28_0-2) before GIT. When I learned that GoFlight drivers are not mandatory for the PMDG 737, I uninstalled them, but this did not resolve the issue.

Do you have any suggestions to fix this problem?
Thank you,
JP Caramella

  • Can you check that the MCP Pro is enabled in GIT (you will need the 737 loaded with the cockpit showing to actually confirm its enabled for the 737.

    Best wishes
