Hi Steve
How do you change the color of the landing gear led light. Not sure how I managed it, but I now have some red and some green?
Thanks

Hi Terry,
Have you tried resetting back to FS Default by clicking the button on the LGT tab?
Best wishes
Steve
Yes I tried that but no change. I have set the GF config to no selection and am using custom events for the A2A Piper Comanche which has a three position switch. I have the gear and lights working as it should but just need to change the color from red to green. There is a selection in the GF config to swap colors but that didn't work either.
Shouldn't there be a selections for color one the GFIT?
Thanks
Terry
Hi Terry,
When each Gear Positions variable does not match the number in "Gear Up Value", the relevant LED light with be lit
Best wishes
Steve.
Yes that is the way the lights are working. The lights are coming on and going off correctly. My problem is the lights a red rather than green. I am looking for a way similar to what's in the GF Config program to select the light color. The GF default is Green and there is a switch that allows you to select red?
Can that be added to the GFIT?
Thanks
Terry
Try using the opposite value. E.g. if its 100 use 0, or if its 0 use 100 or 1 etc.
Best wishes
Steve
Your last comment did it. When you said 100 or 0 it told me I was using the wrong variable! I was trying to use a locked var with discrete 0/1 values. I switched after using deceive and finding three changing variables that changed from 0 to 100 as the gear comes down. Now the lights work perfect! Green when down Red in transition and none when up.
Thanks for the help!
Terry
We got there on in the end! :-)

Maybe I'm just getting to old for this, but for the life of me I can't put your direction in the manual regarding the LGTII into practice;
"When each Gear Positions variable does not match the number in "Gear Up Value", the relevant LED light with be lit."
I am working on the Q400 and have the trims set to work so I don't want to change all the settings to the Default FS and lose those settings.
I am trying to get the settings for the Button_Geardown and the Button_GearUP.
I have the gear going up and down ok however when gear is down I have no lights. When I put the gear up, during the transition the lights go red. When they are up they remain red but I am assuming that is because I am sitting on the ground and the wheels can't go up.
When I try different settings and think I have it right, the "Gear lights", "Gear position", and "Gear up Value", fields are greyed out so I can't enter any other values.
Hoping I can get a little more guidance on how the values might be set.
Input: Button_GearDown/Button_GearUp
Input Event: _____ _____________
Input Action: _____
Gear Lights: _____
Gear Position: _____ Gear Up Value: _____
Any help or guidance would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Dave
.................. another hour before "Post Comment".... now i have all three lights green all the time ....
I don't get it. :-)
Hi Dave,
Configure it to the default FS settings (the button is on the LGT tab). This should give you insight into how to configure it.
Best wishes
Steve
Thanks
