Majestic Dash 8 Q400 mouse events

Many of the buttons switches and dials you need to program your controls are already built in and can be accessed via mouse events within GIT. Some of the controls in the Q400 just will not work with the ExtXML interface or are just not simply documented.

The problem with this method is you have to test each one to find  the proper event use the control you need. There are a huge amount of mouse events for this aircraft so will take considerable time to document these.

I have started a Google sheet and documented some of the ones I have sniffed out already. If you wish to contribute to this send me a PM and I will allow you access to the sheet for editing.

  • Cool, thank you ... on my migration to Win10 I had accidentally forgot to copy all my GIT files over to my backup drive so they got wiped out ... I have another backup from Nov 2015 but it's missing all the recent Q400 mouse event stuff you helped me with.

    Oh well, start over.

    Cheers, Rob.
