GF 46 not recognised by windows 10
I have a GF 46. I am using Windows 10 and Prepar3dv3 - I am new to both. if I boot up the PC with the panel connected and start the config tool it says no panels are connected, if I unplug the connector from the back of the panel, it then shows up on the screen. I can assign functions - the green display flashes - ADF or NAV 1 etc but never stops flashing and the only way to get the function to change is with the config tool on screen the button on the panel does not do anything if I fire up prepar3d nothing happens in the sim - I did manage to get it to work - of sorts using the interface tool but it seems very hit and miss - and the button on the panel still does not do anything and usually if I press it the panel `locks up' - I realise this may be a bit of a `perfect storm' as I have no experience with windows 10, prepar3d or goflight panels. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi,
Do you have it plugged into a USB2 port? It doesn't work with USB3. If using a hub make sure its powered. Install the Goflight drivers with the GF46 connected.
Using Device Manager, turn off power management in the hub/usb port being used and on the GF46 if its present. You can also disable USB Selective Suspend in the power profile (Control Panel, Power Options then drill down into the plan being used and disable the setting).
Reboot and get it to work OK with GFConfig and Prepar3D before trying GIT.
Best wishes
Steve
I would try a powered hub to drive it. I've had a similar problem with GF166's - they are power hungry and if your USB port is slightly under voltage it causes problems. Yes it should be a Microsoft driver.
You could also try these older Goflight drivers: https://www.dropbox.com/s/txy23id0n7nqbck/GFConfigSetup_2_25_2.zip?dl=0
If you still have problems, I would contact John over at Goflight.
Best wishes
