Enable Joysticks
Hi Steve
When you enable joysticks on the settings page, the joystick devices are added to the settings xml file for the aircraft loaded at the time. When another aircraft is loaded they are then added to that aircraft also, so it is a global setting in that any aircraft loaded will have the joysticks added to the xml file. When joysticks are disabled the current aircraft is ok but then any aircraft loaded that had been loaded before will generate the "there are devices missing error". You then don't know if it is just the joystick effect or if you are actually missing a device. I guess the way to deal with it now would be to be sure and load all your aircraft right after you disable joysticks or go into the xml file and delete them manually.
I think it would work better all around if the joysticks were enabled on an aircraft by aircraft basis.
Just a thought
Terry

Good idea, I'll add it to the development plan.
