Avionics Master switch

Hi all,

I'm hoping someone can help.

I have recently upgraded my setup from FS9 to FSX - I am still running Windows XP and cannot upgrade this in the near future.

In FS9, I could truly start up 'cold and dark' - all GF boxes were blank until I pushed 'Avionics Master' this brought all the NAV, DME and Comms boxes to life.

In FS X however, they are always on - they don't tune beacons etc until 'Avionics Master' is pushed but the panels do not go off.

I would like a similar thing to happen to FS9 where the avionics master switches on the panels.

My question to the forum is - Will Steve's software be able to correct this variable - if so, is there still an XP version kicking about?

For background - this is an Air Training Corps Flight Simulator!

Kindest

James
