GIT 2.0.383 for the PMDG
Steve,
I have been using the PMDG Go-flight interface for all my PMDG flights. I decided today to try using the GIT 2.0.383 for the PMDG. The interface starts correctly but the detective is greyed out. I was going to use the detective to find the name of some switches but it will not start. I have tried several time shutting down and restarting but still no detective. The GIT works fine on items I programmed for the PMDG just the detective is not working. If I shut down and load a different aircraft the detective works fine..

Hi Terry,
The Detective doesn't work with the NGX yet. The plan is to migrate the NGX to the generic codebase once I have all the functions built. Detective only works in generic mode.
Best wishes

I have the PMDG interface working with above GIT. One thing I have noticed I think it was the same before when it was stand alone interface.
Using the T8 for Taxi light is ok, when I add the Position and Strobe switches I have a wee problem.
Taxi light switch uses DATA_BTMOH_ LTS_SWITCH_TAXI (which works, light on and off)
The other two I have tried DATA_BTMOH_ LTS_SWITCH_POSTION
It seems that the taxi data is tied to the position data somehow as when I add light "on & a Number" to the position light - I get no LED showing for the position light.
The position light comes on when using certain numbers when the Taxi light is activated.
I have tried all sorts of combinations and have now turned to the expert for some advice......
Regards
Trevor
Hi Terry,
Its a known issue and is a bug in the PMDG SDK. Straight from the manual:
"2) The switch state for the Position Lights appears to provide the Taxi Light state. This has been reported to PMDG."
Best wishes
