  • Hi Steve

Any more suggestions for me on this problem?

    Thanks

    Wayne

  • Hi Wayne,

Can you look at the Bespoke Events in Detective for the functions that are not working and see if there are any tasks listed within them. Also confirm that testing them in Detective still does nothing.

    Thx

    Steve

  • Hi Steve

Yes there are tasks in detective:

    T7_EFIS_Mins_CW

    anim/24/rotery+=0.01

    T7_EFIS_Mins_CCW

    anim/24/rotery-+0.01

Also tasks assigned for BARO Rotary Knob as well.

Testing these functions in detective still does not work. When you test the bespoke event in detective it behaves the same way as when you turn the rotary knob on the GoFlight EFIS.

But I can operate these controls in the sim (777) OK.

    Wayne

  • Sorry made a mistake that should be

    anim/24/rotery- =0.01

  • Strange indeed. When I get in front of my development PC this evening, I will try this for myself and come back to you.

    Best wishes

    Steve

  • OK Thanks

    Wayne

  • Hi Wayne,

I have just tried it and everything works OK. The things I need you to check are:

GFDev.dll version located in your GoFlight directory (GIT for X-Plane should be in the same directory). Right click and select Details to get it.

Can you check that Bespoke Events are assigned to the EFIS rotaries and tell me what they are.

Can you confirm you are running the latest version of the 777

Can you see anim/24/rotary listed in Custom DataRefs in Detective?

Can you try running GIT and X-Plane as Administrator

Can you confirm you are running 1.4.of GIT. Also give me dates of the xpl files in GIT Plugin under your <X-Plane directory>\Resources\Plugins\GIT Plugin

    Best wishes

    Steve

  • Hi Steve

You're awesome. When I checked the version of the GIT I was running it was not 1.4. I was running version that I downloaded when purchased.

I downloaded 1.4 and everything works great.

Thank you very much for patience getting me sorted out.

  • Once you said the += weren't working I figured that might be what it was because Steve fixed that a version or two ago.

  • I tried so many things but obviously missed it. Steve's last email listing all the steps I should follow was what solved my problem. Really appreciated his support. Also thanks to you for your help and comments. Wayne
