MD11 PMDG bespoke events
Hello
The attached MD11 bespoke variables within the MD11_PMDG_events.txt file I have created with the GFIT detective, all variables set to the event “rotor brake” then assigned to pushbuttons, switches or rotaries, light values used from PMDG_MD11.xml (thanks for this)
If a switchfunction was set to a pushbutton the ON event set to HOLD and the OFF event to ON, meaning longer push switching it ON, single push switch OFF the equipment (the IRU for example)
Switch functions set for sync-reasons first to OFF (one time for normal switches, two times for 3-way-switches) then to ON (one or two times depending switch version), same during OFF function – one or two times to ON and then to OFF depending upon switch function.
Some functions set via FSUIPC to Saitek controller (ENG FUEL ON/OFF for example), simply at FSUIPC “BUTTONS + SWITCHES” tab / PROFILE SPECIFIC marked, on RH side “CONTROL SENT WHEN BUTTON IS PRESSED” set the “ROTOR BRAKE” event and select under the parameter noted value defined with the detective – it works for me.
On FCP I’ve set several switches for MCPPRO other than assigned in PMDG_MD11_GFMCPPRO.xml (the MD11 A/P is more Airbus- than Boeingstyle)
PROF BTN TO VNAV (PROF Mode is nearby the VNAV mode)
NAV BTN TO LNAV (NAV is like the LNAV mode)
FMS SPD TO SPEED
NAVPULL TO HDG SEL
ALTPULL TO ALT HOLD
What I’m looking for is a solution to bring the HYD/ELEC/AIR/FUEL Panels into view when pushing the buttons at SYS DSPL CONT PNL, switching woks fine – the related system will be displayed at DU4 but the System Control Panel itself will not show up on automatically on screen. I’m using a beamer for outside view, two monitors for undocked DU1-4 and a touchscreen for the undocked FMC-CDU (works for me for all PMDG’s, LVL-D and other A/C’s) without constructing a special homecockpit for one specific aircraft to fly.
Maybe someone has a hint for me, only calling the variable doesen’t work.
Thanks to all the people here using GO-FLIGHT equipment and helping each other since years, I participated from this a lot.
Best regards
