Map of Control IDs for complex GF hardware
Hi,
whilst the Control ID associated with each switch, PB, LEDs, displays on simple GF devices such as the P8 are simple enough to read and understand when looking through the XML files, more complex devices such as the MCPs, SECM (and to a lesser degree MESM) are not easy to work out that relationship.
I find it very useful to look at the XML files for other aircraft I might not actually own/use (as well as GF hardware types I might not own yet), to get concept or programming ideas how others have approached setting up their configs.
However on complex GF devices I cant easily work out what Control ID matches which physical attribute on the GF device.
Would it be possible to publish a table in the Web online guide detailing the Control ID vs physical attribute on these complex modules?
Regards
David
