Installation Issues

Please help with GIT installation issues for FSX Steam.

I can be more descriptive of what I've done so far but thought first that describing where things stand might lead to the problem resolution.

I launch GIT (SE) and none of the GoFlight modules are recognized so buttom at the bottom is steady red and all of the tabs except "Settings", "Status", and "Log" are grayed out.  "SimConnect/FSX is flashing green.  Aircraft does show Mode: NGX PMDG 737-600.
Aircraft Power, DIO, Detective and restart are grayed out.  "About" is active and shows Version 2.5.5.0.

Log settings look normal except:  "GoFlight Worker Thread Failed:Input String was not in a correct format."

Also, the interface tool will not close normally and must be killed via Task Manager.

I've looked through FAQ and other sources but do not recognize a solution and would appreciate help.
