X Plane 10 nothing working

I just bought X-Plane 10 yesterday, and have added nothing to the sim.

Today, I purchased the X-Plane GIT. The GIT shows it is connected to the default 747, all green indicators under GoFlight, X-Plane and Aircraft. Green checks with Obj DataRefs, ACF DataRefs, and Obj Commands, also the DRE Mimic Mode, all the rest have red X's

All Goflight Modules are dead and not lighted, and nor is my MCP Pro.

In your user guide you mention "the DataRef Editor Plugin must be physically removed" but give no imformation how to remove it or where it is to be found.

Under Plugins shows active. Can anyone help? Thanks Bob

  • Hi Bob,

By default nothing is configured to work. You either need to:

    - select the Default FS buttons on the devices where its available and then enable the device.

    - download aircraft configs from the Downloads menu option on the website and use the Import Wizard to bring the config into GIT.

    - manually configure each device.

  • Thanks Steve, I reviewed the manual and watched a Youtube Video on GIT for Prepar3D. Got the general concept and have managed to get somethings working. Thank you for quick responce, Bob
    1. Download the zipped configuration file for the aircraft concerned.
    Hi Steve

  • Hi Steve,

slight problem with Mcppro, when I press a mode button the mcppro the corresponding button on the  ixeg mcp
lights up correctly but the wrong button lights up on the mcppro.
e.g I press hdg mode on the mcppro, hdg is lit up on the ixeg mcp but when i let the button go the app button lights up on the mcppro.

    the efis is working fine.

When i press cmdA on the on the mcppro the cws on the right lights up,so something is is feeding the mcppro in correct info.

Hope you can understand my explantion.

if i only use the ixeg mcp it still lights up the incorrect buttons on the mcppro.

    Kind Regards

  • Hi Bill,

You will need to raise the issue with the author of the config files (Slayer) via this thread: http://www.pollypotsoftware.org.uk/support/forum.html#/discussion/372/ixeg-737-mcppro-efis-final-requires-git-1-4-or-later
