. I downloaded the new Interface you made, but it's way over my head so I'm going to stick with the PMDG one instead cause I got it going some what not to shabby .So first off, on the Advanced panel, when I'm wheels up and kick in the AUTO Pilot---- in the PMDG it engages the CMD A so that's good. Secondly , let's say I want to fly the bird at 40,000 feet -when I set it at 40,000 feet or what ever, it will read 40,000 on the PMDG panel but on my Advanced Panel it will read any given number and it's the same for the heading read out, the course read out, and the speed read out, they don't jive at all . .That just about does it on the Advanced panel . Now here's what I have going on with the 2- RP 48's, maybe you have different settings that are better then what I have, so far here's what I have . If you look at the picture -the top RP48----the 1st ROTARY to the left I have it set to Altim where I twist it to the current altimeter setting - the SECOND I have it set to RANGE where I set my map range to - 40 -80 and so on---- the THIRD I have it to MODE so if I want to do an ILS approach this is where I set it .The FOURTH one is blank for now , maybe you have a spot for it I can set it to. Now the same RP48 on the push buttons. The 1st button is to VNAV-the 2nd-to LNAV-the 3RD VOR/LOC-the 4Th -LEVEL CHANGE-THE 5Th and 6Th are to flip the FD switches -the 7Th is to AUTO THROTTLE and the 8TH for now is blank . Now in the picture the 3rd module is one is my second RP48. I'd like to set the Auto brake to RTO -OFF and then 1-2-3 or what ever -- I can't get them to work for some reason .. the next 2 I would like to switch the left and the right to GRD to start the engines and then be able to put them on CONT but can't get them programed, this is where I'm high centered. I have it set to EVT_OH_LIGHTS_ENGINE START -rotary action ==ROTATE _ON OFF. This is where I'm lost why does it say LIGHTS?., and I don't understand the rotate on off --the reverse rotate and all the rest of it . So that's leaves me one left and I don't have it set to any any thing . So that's it and hope I explained my self good enough . Thanks

Hi Louis,

Have you set the MCP Advanced to Project Magenta in GF Config?
"Now in the picture the 3rd module is one is my second RP48. I'd like to set the Auto brake to RTO -OFF and then 1-2-3 or what ever -- I can't get them to work for some reason "
This particular requirement is used in the GoFlight PMDG Interface Manual for the RP48. It will show you what the screens should look like.
"I have it set to EVT_OH_LIGHTS_ENGINE START -rotary action ==ROTATE _ON OFF. This is where I'm lost why does it say LIGHTS?., and I don't understand the rotate on off --the reverse rotate and all the rest of it . So that's leaves me one left and I don't have it set to any anything"
It contains LIGHTS because of PMDG's naming convention. The first part of the event name represents the area of the switch/light/dial concerned, In this case the Over Head Lights Section. If you assign this to a RP48 rotary, simply use the ROTATE Rotary Action as this will work fine.
Hope that helps.

Hi Louis,
If you load up GFConfig and click on the MCP Advanced there will be a drop down box containing options. It should say FS Default, but you need to change it to Project Magenta.
You need to do this, otherwise Goflights own drivers will be displaying FS Default autopilot settings on the MCP over-writing anything the GoFlight PMDG Interface displays on the MCP. This is why it appears scrambled.
I was not planning on going to the conference, but I'll take a look like know you have flagged it.

Hi Louis,
Yes that's correct. You can save different configurations in GFConfig. Just create one for the NGX one for default aircraft and just load up the one you need at the time.
