"Low Pressure" Light Settings for Fuel Pumps - PMDG NGX P3D

Hello folks:

I think that I have tried most permutations and combinations of  Light Action and Light Value settings, to get the fuel pump "Low Pressure" lights to light up on my T8's, as they do on the aircraft panel without success.

The "issue" or "problem, is that the lights will light up in two scenarios. If the fuel tank is empty and the pumps are turned on, the "Low Pressure" lights will come on. On the other hand, if the tanks are full and the pumps are turned off, those lights will come on.

As an example, I have programmed the Center Left tank as follows:
 Switch Event: ON       EVT_OH_FUEL_PUMP_L_CENTER
Switch Action:  ONOFF_REVERSED
Light Data: DATA_FWDOH_FUEL_LIGHT_LOW_PRESS_CTR_LEFT

The switches funtion just fine.

However, it is with the "Light Action" and "Light Value" settings that I have not been able to get the lights on the T8 to come on.

I have tried ON/1 and OFF/0 and ON GREATER THAN/1 etc. etc., run through the list and without success.

Any others have been successful?

Please share!

Regards,
Roberto

  • Issue resolved!
After turning everything off (GFIT, P3D and PC) and back on, the settings:

    Light Action:  ON
    Light Value:  1

    Work just fine!!

one happy (and getting better at it!) Roberto
  • Hi Roberto,

Sometimes it appears like the lights don't work when you are settings things up. This is because the state of the variable/light must change before GIT does an update. You have to trigger the light change or quit GIT and restart it.

    Best wishes
