downloaded version 1.8 and now will not work...when I downloaded, two versions came down, one 1.7, the other 1.8....I assume I only need 1.8? is there anything else I need to do? Thanks everyone
Comments
Yes you need 1.8. Did it work previously? What error messages are you getting? Is the Detective button enabled?

There is a known issue with LED's and the GoFlight gear from Windows 8 upwards. The GoFlight drivers run a program called Windows8Fixer.cmd during setup which should resolve the issue, but on some PC's it doesn't work. Run this program as Administrator and test the lights. If they still do not work, unplug the devices concerned, run the program again, plug back in the devices one at a time and test. Repeat as necessary until the LED's work.

The Windows8Fixer.cmd is part of their drivers. You won't need the driver software after this if you only run X-Plane.
In relation to the directory, it must be My Documents\GoFlight Interface Tool that is renamed. Do not rename anything in Program Files (x86) or ProgramData.

- Windows 10 issue, but you say that the LED's work in GFConfig so that is OK.
- The 4 things in the FAQ entry "My MCP PRO or MCP Advanced is not updating its display (just showing zeroes)"
- Corrupt PMDG install, so it needs uninstalling and reinstalling.
One of the above things always fixes this problem.
