Making backups before upgrading GIT for X-Plane
Hi Steve,
I have been making regular backups of C:\Users\\Documents\Go Flight Interface Tool directory that contains various .xml and .txt files including BespokeEvents.xml etc.
If anything goes wrong during an upgrade and this directory gets trashed, would a drop-in replacement of the above backed up directory save the day (and countless hours of work), or is there a more efficient way to regularly back everything up using an Export/Import function?
Thank you.
regards
Martin

What you are doing is fine and yes the restore is simply a case of copying your backup into My Documents\GoFlight Interface Tool.
Best wishes
