GIT FSX - Error on starting Tool - Simconnect 62615

Hi,

I've just purchased and installed GIT FSX (not FSX SE) but on running the console I get the attached error messages. From the investigation I've done am I correct in thinking GIT is looking for a version of Simconnect I would only have if I installed FSX SE?

Any guidance on what I've done wrong would be appreciated.

P.S. I was a user of GIT back in the beta days and I've just returned to FSX after a couple of years break. Really good to see this app going from strength to strength and I am more than happy to finally pay towards all your hard work :-)

Ian

  • Did you download GIT-FSX.zip and run that version? GIT-SE.zip will give you that error. If you have installed both, make sure you run the non SE version of GIT.

If you still have problems, let me know as these are new releases today and the build may be screwed up.

    Best wishes

Hi Steve, It was definitely GIT FSX I downloaded. I did it twice just to make sure I hadn't downloaded the wrong one the first time. I don't have FSX SE so haven't touched that download.

    Cheers,

  • I have rebuilt it. If you uninstall, re-download and reinstall it should be OK.
