Problem with SECM and the Interface Tool

Hello und Greetings from Germany,

first of all, i hope you can understand my Problem. English is not my Motherlanguage but i hope you can understand where my Problem is.

I have watched the Tutorial Video from Rob and i want to pratictise with the GoFlight Interface Tool.

My Hardware from GoFlight ( GF-MCP, SECM, RP48, 2X GF46, 3x GF166A VRP )

I tried to config the Standart Beech Baron G1000 from P3Dv4.

Wenn i use the Avionics Master the Detective gives me 2 Events :
0000000127 Event: 066293 Event Data: 000001 Event Name: TOGGLE_AVIONICS_MASTER
0000000128 Event: 066379 Event Data: 000001 Event Name: TOGGLE_NAV_LIGHTS

Why 2 Events on this Switch. Then i create a New Bespoke Event and i put only 1 Event in. Event: 066293 Event Data: 000001 Event Name: TOGGLE_AVIONICS_MASTER

The i put the new Event on the Switch but it shows me again the two events from the Beginning ?

Where is my mistake ?

    Do the AVIONICS come on when its selected or Tested in Detective?

    If both events activate, then that is how the aircraft is built with FSX.

    Wenn ich den Schalter Avionics Master Switch benutze with the Mouse in the Virtual Cockpit the Detective shows One Event. Event: 066293 Event Data: 000000 Event Name: TOGGLE_AVIONICS_MASTER

    Wenn ich den Schalter am SECM Avionics Master auf ON it gives me every Time 2 Events ( See Picture )

    Why 2 Events i have only programm 1 Event to this switch

    Have you configured the other event on the OFF or HOLD event so two events trigger?

    Zip up Documents\GoFlight Interface Tool so I can see and use your config and attach it to this thread.

    Have you double checked nothing else is configured to "drive" the SECM such as FSUIPC, GFConfig, Linda etc - its the usual cause of multiple events firing as each piece of software responds to the switch action and sends the event you have configured.

    Ok, just tested it and your config works fine on my PC. You must have other software configured that is also responding to the switch on the SECM and sending the other event. You will need to track down what you have set-up on your system to do this.

    PS: For default aircraft, just click the Default FS button on the GIT SECM tab and every switch will be auto configured. No need to use Bespoke Events.

    I have only FSUIPC , GF-Config 2.28.0 and the GoFlight Tool.

    You need to check both. Set-up a profile in GFConfig specifically for use when GIT is used so that nothing is configured in it. See my PS post above as well - it may well save you a lot of time.

    That is a little extreme. If you can't find anything double configured, then eliminate the hardware. Do you get the same issue when assigned to another switch on another Goflight device?

    It will be Monday before I will reply again. I've only been offering support outside normal working hours because of all the new Pollypot software releases. Usually support is Monday to Friday 10am-6pm GMT+1

    Thx Steve. I habe reinstalled the PC. It is only P3Dv4 on it without any Addon. I habe the latest GF Config Software and i disabled all the things from the FAQ. I installed the Interface Tool. I removed any Joystick assignments in the P3Dv4 Config. I create two Bespoke Events
    1: Event: 066293 Event Data: 000001 Event Name: TOGGLE_AVIONICS_MASTER
    2: Event: 066379 Event Data: 000001 Event Name: TOGGLE_NAV_LIGHTS

    When i test the Bespoke Events in the Detective, then everything is fine. When i use the Avionics Hardware Swich at the SECM the Nav Lights toggle two and when i toggle the Nav Lights its toggle the Avionics Master Switch.

    I have just double checked in P3Dv4 as I used FSX before. Your config works fine. You must have other software driving the SECM or your SECM is faulty (hardware short).

    There is nothing else I can advise.
