Error message Prepare 3D V3.ini file not found

Hello , I installed the 2.0 version of the Engravity driver in order to use it with Prepare3D v4 and the latest pmdg B747.
When aircraft is becoming active, I receive the message that the Prepare 3D v3 ini file isn't found. But I don't have that version anymore on my pc. Only v4 is installed. CDU screen was remaining black , but buttons were working. After including manually the text items mentioned in the FAQ into the SDK, everything is working ok now, but that error message is coming up every time the aircraft is becoming active.
What can be done here ?
Many thanks
Michel

  • You will need to remove any references to v3 of P3D from the registry or create dummy directories that mimic your previous P3D and the PMDG/747 directory within it and copy over the 747 options.ini file to it.
