GoFlight MCP inputs are random

Hi Steve,
Following problems from last month that were resolved (thanks), I decided to 'bite the bullet' and do a complete reinstall of P3Dv4 as I had other issues with other software that did not like the fact that I had installed P3D into the Programs Folder. I have now installed it directly to my C: root. However, (there had to be an 'however'!), although I've downloaded the latest GIT (yesterday) and have the latest drivers from GoFlight (2.28.0), my MCP is all over the place! If I change altitude, the output is random, if I try to set a course using one or the other dial, it changes both windows randomly as well etc... Any ideas? What have I done wrong this time? :-)

Comments

  • Have you set the MCP PRO to compatible add-on in GFConfig?
  • Just done so (it was on FS Default). Now, If I dial slowly, I get increments of 5/500 etc.. Dialling faster results in upwards or downwards random increments.
  • It still sounds like the GoFlight Data Bridge is interfering. Quit that program (blue square with a black aircraft on it in the notification area of the task bar).
  • I quit P3D and closed both GIT and Configurator, started P3D and GIT only - all fine!! Many thanks!
