Settings being over-written

Hi,

Can people report back if the following steps cause their setting file to be over-written and whther its all devices or just specific devices that loose their settings:

1 - Launch FSX
2 - Launch Interface Tool
3 - Load plane.
4 - Once in the Virtual Cockpit, quit FSX.
6 - Close Interface Tool.

then try this:

1 - Launch FSX
2 - Launch Interface Tool
3 - Load plane.
4 - Once in the Virtual Cockpit, go and fly for a while and then quit FSX.
6 - Close Interface Tool.

This has been reported as a bug, and I'm struggling to recreate it and need some more feedback.

Many thanks

Steve

    Hi Steve

Tried both steps above using Prepar3D and 2.0.241.0 and the settings file remained intact both times. However, on starting Prepar3D the 2nd time, it crashed before reaching the virtual cockpit and the error below was reported in Event Viewer (btw starting Prepar3D a 3rd time worked fine).
