question on aerosoft crj mcp course selector display not matching what is in sim

Hi, been working on trying to map all my gf stuff to this plane and noticed a weird issue where the course1 left display in the sim is always 22 degrees less than what my gf mcp display shows. Does anyone know if there is an easy way for me to synch these? when I look in detective while turning the knob in the sim, the lvar data matches the numbers on the gf device, but not what the popup tool display shows when highlighting the course knob. I am using some of the programming that a kind fellow uploaded here for that plane, though it was for the mcp pro.

regards

  • That's sounds like a bug in the aircraft Bill. Does the standard simconnect course variable have the correct value that matches the pop up?

  • Hi, I'm not sure what you mean by standard simconnect course variable. If you mean the value that I see in Detective for the ASCRJ_FCP_CRS1_SEL value, it matches my goflight display. If that is not what you mean, then do you know how I can see the simconnect variable?

  • No, its the simconnect variable NAV OBS1 or NAV OBS2.

  • ok..uh, how do I view that? is that via fsuipc?
  • Just choose it on the COURSE display of your MCP instead of ASCRJ_FCP_CRS1_SEL.
  • the course needle on the display in the sim corresponds to the pop up value at the course knob. Thus the display on my goflight is not correct. I'm just wondering if I can program my display with an offset to match the instrument panel in the sim. It seems my goflight display is always 22 degrees higher. Thanks for your help with this, btw
  • Have you tried setting the Light Data value on the MCP Course Display to NAV OBS1?
  • Hi, I just updated to the newest version of the GF Interface and it seems to be working now. I guess I was using 3.4.1 before.

    Thanks
