"C1-A or C1-5" message with GF-166 module /P3D V3.4

Dear All,

Just bought a new Goflight GF-166 VRP and tried to install it. Although I followed the installation procedure impossible to use the module. I got the "C1-A or C1-5" message on the screen but nothing more. It seems there is no communication with P3D.

Do i have to install the Goflight Interface tool in order to make it run ?

System : P3DV3.4; last installation software from Goflight

  • No you don't need GIT. Have you run GFConfig and configured the GF166 to do something? Is there a blue and black aircraft icon in the notification area of the taskbar when P3D is running?

  • Yes I run the GFConfig and set the Gf166 as COM1 ... There is the blue and black aircraft in the task bar ... Unfortunately it seems there is no communication between P3D and GF166 ... I got only two green light and the C1-A message ... I tried to unplug and replug the GF166 with no success ...
  • I've not seen that message before. Check these things and if still no good, escalate to GoFlight Inc:

Double check you have the device connected to USB2 only.
Check in GFConfig, you have setup the device in the P3D tab and not the FSX tab.
