GIT X-Plane: Not finding Aircraft sim type
I have IXEG 737 installed in X-Plane 11 fully updated. I have GIT X-Plane 2.0.1.1 installed and have downloaded the IXEG profile from "Slayer" and followed the install instruction on the GIT webpage. I can import the zip file correctly and my MCPPRO and EFIX work along with my radio stack and LGT panel once programmed. However, the ASEL rotary knob rotates the digits in 10 feet increments instead of 100 feet increments.
Also, I noticed that on the Status Page, the Aircraft Mode listed is "GENERIC" and B737. I thought it would/should say IXEG 737. It sounds like this might be tied into the ASEL digits issue?
So my question is whether GIT is working right and finding the right airplane. When I installed, I started X-plane first, then started the GIT. Am I doing something wrong?
thanks,
Rich Boll

No, that sounds all OK.
By default, XP does increment in 10 feet increments.
I don't have the IXEG to test, but hopefully Slayer will see this thread and respond.
Best wishes
Steve
I thought I saw the GIT find the Aircraft as "IXEG" and the GENERIC B733, but I could be recalling wrongly.
Another issue that I am having is that GIT does shutdown normally. It requires me to use Task Manager or the Win10 "Program Not Responding" option box. I run GIT as administrator. Any thoughts as to why GIT may have problems shutting down?
Thanks for putting GIT for X-plane out. That and IXEG has finally got me flying X-plane.
Thanks,
Rich
Someone else has reported the issue with it locking up during shutdown. I will need to investigate.
Best wishes
Steve
