Going on 90 days since original post. Having spent considerable time reading posts here I decided to wait a bit before starting up the learning curve with my 6 GF modules and GIT.
I'm going to go ahead and buy GIT today to support Steve and the community. I have a LONG way to go to get a functioning system, but it's time to "jump in" as the saying goes. I have been staring at these 6 GF modules holding up my 2nd monitor for three months. Time to get moving. I'm using P3DV4. I understand Steve's advice about V4, but I have much to learn so it's time to get going.
Especially seeing Rob put up the second video. THANK YOU sir! Your respect in the FS community is well deserved. You also Steve. The patience of Job. Thanks!
At this point all I'm going for is getting my beloved Manfred Jahn C47 V3 somewhat configured. I see a profile for V2 of the DC3 in the downloads section. Should be a great place to start to learn as well as the user guides and this forum. If anyone has materials or advice to share for this AC, would be most appreciated.
I also am learning to fly the 64b Q and have the PMDG 737 in the hanger. All in good time.
I will make every attempt to RTFM before posting noob questions.
