GF Config tool auto starting??
Hi Steve,
Well, after months (on and off) of clean installing Windows 10 (twice), installing, uninstalling, installing, tweaking, mending etc etc... of software that I use for my flight sim, I finally had a perfect flight yesterday, Yipee! P3Dv4.1 with various ORBX sceneries, PMDG 737, Goflight Interface, SPADNext, ProATC and Active Sky all working nicely together! Then I put the PC to sleep for a while and went back last night for another flight. Aaarrgghhhhh!
All of a sudden, P3D was loading itself on start-up (even after a hard boot) and so was the GoFlight Config tool. Not only that, but when opening a flight scenario, my maximum zoom-out put's me close up in every view. For example, in the cockpit I can only see the top of the instrument panel and unable to zoom out (although I can zoom in!). See attached screenshots (3x27in screens spanned plus two screen below).
This morning, I've checked graphic settings in both Windows and P3D, all seem fine. I've restarted and rebooted several times and although both P3D and GF Config seem to have stopped autoloading on start-up, the views remain the same. The only thing I changed in P3D options was to deselect the 'black out screen' option, which interestingly, must, somehow, have selected itself as I always have that option deselected as I use two additional screens for panels.
Starting P3D also autostarts the GF Config tool. There is no option in that tool that allows a choice of start on start-up or not. I've attached a P3D error log that might give you some sort of clue. Clearly, I have no idea whether this weird issue is caused by the GF Config tool or P3D, or something else! I'm at a complete loss and as you can imagine, hugely frustrated! I will raise this issue with P3D as well to see what their comments are.
If you can take a quick look, I'd be most grateful! I don't imagine I'll get a very quick response from P3D!
Many thanks,
Kevin.

Sorry, yes, that's what I meant. I did reinstall both the GF Config file and Interface, no joy. :-(
