Unable to launch GIT for X-Plane
I have installed my Go-Flight MCP, ensured the .net 3.5 and 4.6.2 are up to date (no updates available in automatic updates except the additional language packs and the installed the latest GIT for X-plane and pointed it to my X-Plane 11 installation. install goes fine but when trying to launch the application I get an "Application halted" error. the contents of the windows error log are below. Can you point me in the right direction please?
I am running X-Plane 11 x64 on Windows 7 x64 all updated as stated above and on an Intel i7 2700k, Asus Sabertooth P67 motherboard.

PS: GIT will be attempting to contact the registration server so it could be firewall or anti-virus related.
Google for a replacement dll file for Windows 7 and update it in c:\windows\system32 and GIT should start OK.

last night I took a copy of the UIAutomaioncore.dll from my up-to-date windows 7 laptop and dropped it onto my gaming PC in C:\Windows\System32 (I checked everyone had full permissions to run it) , then ran chkdsk but still the same outcome I'm afraid.
