Steve,
Can you please load up the latest zip file to the downloads area.

This config has been tested on Zibo B738 v3.24z.

  • Thanks David, that works really well. Appreciate the effort.
  • Does it work with 3.25B ? My MCP panel works great with 3.24z but not with 3.25B so far
  • Hi Jonfly,
Yes its should. I did a flight from YSSY to YPAD last night with 3.25B and it worked a treat. Only thing abnormal was that taxiing to the terminal, when I turned off the FD switches the speed light remained on. In flight it was fine.

  • I'm using it with 3.25B as well and it's fine.
  • Ok but if I speak to you often it is that many of my problems like the key code are not problems that can be solved on the forum ....
  • Hello everyone. Since yesterday I started having problems with my MCP-PRO with zibo. From what I see, it does not read the dataref.txt. And the GIT does not get it. With Ixeg everything works perfect, and I do not add any new plugin. I already deleted all the plugins, and I did all the tests, but it still does not work.
I load the GIT first and get one green light. Then I load X-Plane and all three lights go green. I load an aircraft Zibo 737 and the cogwheels appear and begin to rotate but NOTHING ELSE EVER HAPPENS. The MCP Pro tab remains greyed out and the only button that is active is "Restart". If I press that I simply get three reds and the repeating message "GIP Pipe Connection Failed!".
I tried to import the new David Williams file, through the IMPORT WIZARD button, but it still does not work. When I start importing the new files, it takes many minutes and the git stops working. The files are not imported.
Nothing works. Also start the GIT as administrator and xplane as well, but it does not work either. I also created a new GIT folder in the documents folder, but it did not work either.
So I see the git if it reads the files commands.txt - obj datarefs - acf datarefs - dre datarefs - obj commands. But it does not read the datarefs.txt file. A red cross appears next to the datarefs.txt file. And in the aforementioned files, they appear with a green tilde.
    Someone could help me?
  • Can you copy and paste your GIT Log. In the zibo directory does the datarefs.txt file exist?
  • Hi,
I normally start x-plane first then when I've got the aircraft loaded I start GIT. In this instance I've done exactly as you have. GIT first and then X-Plane. Everything started as expected. It took about 4 mins to start x-plane and load the aircraft.

See the attachment GIT_Capture_Normal for what the status page looks like and GIT_X-Plane_Start_Log for the log file.

Shutdown X-Plane and you start getting the PIPE message. Refer GIT_Capture_No_X-Plane for what's shown in the log. Restart X-Plane and everything starts correctly. Refer GIT_Capture_ReStart_Log.

I should point out that when I stopped x-plane the 2 GF-166 displayed all zeros. When I restarted X-Plane the GF-MCP Pro also displayed all zeros even though I'm using the AV_Enabled mode and the battery is switched off, so it didn't come back correctly.

When I start the power the GF-MCP Pro displays correctly, the com GF-166 displays correctly but the Nav GF-166 still displays zeros. I do understand the GF-166 are notoriously problematic. (Shutdown GIT, unplug the offending device and plug it back in again, start GIT and everything is back up and running).

The datarefs.txt file needs to be in the aircraft folder for the Zibo aircraft (.../Aircraft\B737-800X in my case). A copy is in the zip file.
The B738_Datarefs is useless. It's not all the datarefs. There's currently about 2730 datarefs that this aircraft uses and the beauty of GIT is that it makes all the datarefs visible by updating the datarefs.txt file everytime (check out the timestamps after you fly the aircraft).

I don't know whether I've been much help but persevere. This is a great product and keeps getting better with each release. (I'm assuming your using 2.0.11.0).

  • Then I send the GIT log and all the other images. You can see that it is as if the GIT worked but I did not turn on any light in the mcp. David I downloaded your folder but I could not find the file data.ref to install it in the plane folder. As you can also see in the images, it does not read the file data.ref (it is with a red cross). And when I tried to use the import wizard, the git would stop working or I would not load David's folder directly.
I did not make any plugin changes. Do not install any new plugin. I only update zibo to version g. But when I saw that the git stopped working, I made a clean installation to the previous version where everything worked correctly. And it did not work anymore. Any suggestions? Thank you very much!

  • The Datarefs file in the zibo directory is 0 bytes. Delete the file and rerun the import wizard and make sure it shows up again.
  • I already deleted the data.ref file from the plane folder. I opened the git. I open the simulator. I charge the plane. I'm going to import wizard. I choose David's folder. Click on mcp pro and efis. I choose import. And it's been more than 20 minutes since nothing happened. It stays stuck like this in the image.
  • Ok. Go into Detective and click the red X button to clear out the Bespoke Events. Then go into each tab and again click the red X buttons to clear out the configs for each device.

Delete any txt file in the zibo directory that has dataref in its filename. The same with command txt files, then try the wizard again.

If that doesn't work, rename Documents\GoFlight Interface Tool to anything you like and then try the import wizard again.
  • When I go to the detective option, and I press on all the red buttons, nothing works. I sent a picture of this.
I already deleted all the datarefs from the plane folder. Also delete all the command.txt files. And I also send image of this.
Also delete the git folder in documents. And I regenerate a new one. I also send image of this.
And I also send an image of the files in David's folder that also goes down. I have it in my downloads folder. Do any of these files or David's folder have to go in any particular folder?
I already try everything. It does not work. Ixeg works perfect. Zibo no. And also I have installed the rg mod with the same letter that is the g. I have zibo version g and rg mod version g.
  • I'm still having the same problem. When I wanted to load David's file with import wizard, I chose the file, then the options mcp pro and efis, and then press import. When importing bespoke events appears, automatically of the 3 green lights that I had in the git, 2 are put in red, one that of xplane and another that of aircraft. And it stays that way. No file is imported.
  • Then take the B738_Datarefs file from the zibo folder, and replace it in my b738 folder that I had until last week for the git to work perfectly in the my documents folder. As within that folder the datarefs.txt was in 0kb, replace this file with the B738_Datarefs that I extracted from the zibo folder, and rename it to b738 Datarefs. That is, change the uppercase B to the lowercase b.Start the git again, then xplane. I loaded zibo, and my MCP started to work, but all values were at zero.
As I show in the image. Everything in zero. But at least the mcp marked the numbers.Apparently I have a problem with the datarefs.txt file. It is the only file that does not read correctly.
If there is not a solution for this problem, could someone pass me your dataref.txt file that reads your git so that the mcp pro works?Thank you very much!
  • pablmas5,
My apologies. I got it wrong. You don't need the datarefs.txt file at all. I was thinking of the DREDatarefs.txt file.

I noticed your DRE Mimic Mode is a red cross. Have you get DatarefEditor plugin installed?

    David
  • Yes, I have it installed David. Even, my mcp works perfect with ixeg. My problem with zibo started on Monday. And I did not do any new plugin installation. And already probe with removing all the plugins and go installing one by one. I did all the tests. Just update zibo on Tuesday. And never worked again. I did a reinstall of xplane again. Try the 737 default. I put version b of zibo.
When I import my files into the import wizard, when I press the import button, the git automatically stops working. No file matters
I hope you can help me. And also I already rename the git folder so that a new one is created.
I remember that a few months ago, when I bought the git, the installation of the files so that the mcp works for both ixeg and zibo, I did not do it with the import wizard option. I did it in another way. With the detective button I remember I did it. Can be?
Can someone give me the dataref.txt file that they have in their zibo folder in the documents folder so that the git works?
  • I have put up a new version of GIT that may help fix your issues. Try it and let us know. Download from your account in the normal way.

    Best wishes
    Steve
  • I'm still having the same problem. When I wanted to load David's file with import wizard, I chose the file, then the options mcp pro and efis, and then press import. When importing bespoke events appears, automatically of the 3 green lights that I had in the git, 2 are put in red, one that of xplane and another that of aircraft. And it stays that way. No file is imported.
  • Remove the old GIT from my control panel. Install the new version of the GIT. Restart my pc. And then the same steps. I open the GIT as administrator. I open the simulator as an admin. Import wizard button. I choose David's folder. The mcp pro and efis options. And the button import. It deletes the old beskope events, and when it begins to import the files, the 2 lights on the right of the 3 lights that the GIT has are turned red and it stops working. And nothing happens.
I do not know what else to do. This never happened to me. I have not used the simulator for 4 days for trying to give a solution to this.
  • Of the only way that at least it worked, but all the values in my mcp are in zero, it is installing the file B738_datarefs.txt of the folder of zibo, to the folder of David, and renaming it b738 datarefs.txt. In this case, the mcp worked because it was set, but it marks everything at zero and nothing works.
  • Try installing GIT into the directory C:\Goflight and disable any AV software.
  • what would the software be?
  • It worked!!!!!! I Install the GIT folder in the directory C: \ Goflight and worked!!!! Thank you very much!!!!
  • Great! On some systems the security gets in the way when installed in c:\program files (x86). I'm not sure why!
  • Thank you very much!!!!
