GIT for Xplane
Moved over from FSX and have just started with Xplane and GIT. Used GIT for FSX quite a bit.
For some reason I can't figure out how to simply empty the field in a pull down menu so there is nothing in it. I seem to remember in GIT for FSX there was a blank line in the pull down list I could go to.??
Am I missing something??
Thanks
Dave

Use "sim/none/none".

Funny thing is, my experience would be exactly the opposite. I spent 10+ years fighting with Goflight and FSX with limited success. For example, PMDG aircraft and goflight use to be a disaster together.
I switched to Xplane 2 years ago. I have had far greater success programing my goflight equipment (3-GF188, EFIS, MCPPRO, MESM, LGT, 2-T8, P8, GF46, RP48) within Xplane 11. I currently spend a lot of time with the Xplane Zibo mod and all my goflight modules are fully functional.
As for Goflight I have been frustrated with them since the very beginning. Their customer support has always been horrendous. So ultimately it was only a matter of time before the almighty customer's power turned on them. I haven't bought another GF module in years.
I have hopes for the future that a new owner can turn the fortunes around for this brand. I need a couple more T8s! I have always found the hardware to be of good quality. So I am in the "wait and see" mode before I start looking for alternatives. Time will tell!
I can assure you the company has been sold. I have spoken to Tony the previous owner and John Grieg who used to provide the support at GoFlight. John is going back to work at GoFLight, so support will be very good once again.
Best wishes
