GSX Variable problems with GIT detective

Hi,

For some reason only a subset of GSX variables that are supposed to be readable in GSX seem to be showing up in GIT.

The complete list of GSX variables for FS DreamTeam's GSX product are:

FSDT_GSX_DEBOARDING_STATE
FSDT_GSX_CATERING_STATE
FSDT_GSX_REFUELING_STATE
FSDT_GSX_DEBOARDING_STATE
FSDT_GSX_DEPARTURE_STATE
FSDT_GSX_DEICING_STATE
FSDT_GSX_DEICING_TYPE
FSDT_GSX_NUMPASSENGERS
FSDT_GSX_NUMPASSENGERS_BOARDING
FSDT_GSX_NUMPASSENGERS_DEBOARDING
FSDT_GSX_AIRCRAFT_EXIT_1_TOGGLE
FSDT_GSX_AIRCRAFT_EXIT_2_TOGGLE
FSDT_GSX_AIRCRAFT_EXIT_3_TOGGLE
FSDT_GSX_AIRCRAFT_EXIT_4_TOGGLE
FSDT_GSX_AIRCRAFT_SERVICE_1_TOGGLE
FSDT_GSX_AIRCRAFT_SERVICE_2_TOGGLE
FSDT_GSX_AIRCRAFT_CARGO_1_TOGGLE
FSDT_GSX_AIRCRAFT_CARGO_2_TOGGLE
FSDT_VAR_Frozen

FSDT_GSX_NUMPASSENGERS is read/writable, whereas the remainder are read-only.

For some reason detective is only picking up the first 5 variables in this list.

  • I suspect those additional lvars are created when needed by the app. GIT only checks for lvars once. You could try loading GIT after you have brought up the GSX app in the sim and see if that makes them appear.

  • Im definitely having issues with GSX and GIT.

Ive loaded up the new Aerosoft Airbus, and at a default gate, Ive invoked GSX to deboard, to ensure its actually running.
I've then started GIT, and gone into DETECTIVE. Ive searched for any LVARs starting with FSDT, it its finding no LVars to match.
I've then started up another coding tool (SPAD.NEXT), which seems to detect a total of 26 FSDT LVARs in the same session.
    Im running 3.6.1.0

Any idea what I should check next to find out why GIT cant seem to detect the GSX FSDT LVars?

  • I'm not sure what is going on here. An lvar is an lvar and if its declared, GIT should find it upon startup. I'll have to assume at this point it is a bug and look into it.
