FS2020 GIT installation

I have the STEAM version of FS2020. Where do I install the Goflight GIT application?

    What is wrong?

You can install it wherever you like, but normally in program files\GoFlight

The GIT is running in the background. Use task manager to find GIT and right click on it and select End Task.

PS The GIT Module goes into your FS2020 Community folder.
  • Thanks for your reply! everything is installed correctly, but I also have the pollypotsoftware.....module under ..Package folder?
I am unable to open the GIT app - get a message saying "An instance of the goflight interface is arleady running".
  • What are the steps for setting up configs in GIT?
Do I open FS2020, then GIT or vice versa?
  • The order doesn't matter. This is a quick guide for FS2020: https://www.pollypotsoftware.org.uk/vanillaforums/discussion/1436/fs2020-feature-status-and-usage/p1

Also recommend you read the full manual here, especially the beginner guide: https://www.pollypotsoftware.org.uk/support/user-guide/user-guide-git.html

  • Thanks for your help!! Things are progressing with GIT for fs2020.
How do I locate and download the ASOBO aircraft files to use with GIT?
  • When I press import it opens Asobo_kingairair.zip file but says it can't be located!
The file is in LUA folder. What is the process for downloading these files for different aircraft from you site?

There is only a file for the TBM 930 in our downloads section of our website. Where did that file come from? Do you know if its import wizard compatible?

  • Do I select airecraft in fs2020 before I load controller assignments?
  • What is the correct order to setup GIT for my aircraft in fs2020?
I have no modules configured currently. If I import a config it tries to load King_Air350.zip file ??
  • Sorry for the late reply, I have been unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances.

Yes, you do need to select the aircraft in FS2020 so GIT knows what aircraft you are configuring.

Where are you getting the zip file from as its not listed on our website?

    Thx
    Steve
