Hi I’ve been using GIT for about 2 years and in that time found it frustrating but don’t know if it’s just me. The goflight modules all load with widows as they briefly light up when the computer boots up when I start the sim (fs2024 was 2020 but appears same problem) I get random problems
sometimes it will work with a restart of GIT (not often)
sometimes I need to disconnect all USB’s and reconnect them then restart GIT (often)
sometimes I need to import settings from a saved file to the individual modules then restart GIT (not often)
sometimes I have to reboot computer as none of the above worked I have “Windows control power” disabled on all USB’s in device manager and Power plan
does anyone have any suggestions
any would de appreciated

They really need to be connected to USB2 ports. The best way to achieve that is to buy a USB2 powered hub and plug that into a USB2 port on your computer.

In Device Manager make sure you have Universal Serial Bus controllers/USB Root Hubs Power Management options unticked, same goes for any Generic USB Hub devices in that section and in fact anything in that section, just check its Power Management.
You then want to go through the Human Interface Devices section of Device Manger and untick the Power Management options on those devices. The software discussed here may help you identify the specific GoFlight devices instead of disabling Power Management on everything: https://www.pollypotsoftware.org.uk/support/forum.html#/discussion/2149/a-useful-utility-for-analysing-your-usb-devices#latest
You should also check your BIOS for any USB power management settings that can be disabled.
Best wishes
Steve
PS If your MCP Pro firmware is not A25 then it will always lock up - nothing you can do. If you have a GF166/GF45/GF46 these are notorious for locking up regardless. Search this forum for the many ways people have stabilised those particular devices.
