A useful utility for analysing your USB devices
I discovered USBDeview earlier this year and thought others might find it useful. A screenshot is attached. It shows you each device and crucially how much power it consumes and what version of USB it was designed for. Note that GoFlight were all designed for USB1 but work fine on USB2 hubs.
My own GoFlight kit is attached to a 10 port USB2 powered hub connected to an inexpensive Xiatiaosann 2-Port USB 2.0 Rear Panel Expansion Bracket connected to a USB2 header on the motherboard. All my GF kit works perfectly.
