  • Hi,

Follow the installation instructions here http://www.pollypotsoftware.org.uk/support/user-guide/goflight-interface-tool-x-plane/33-installation/78-installation.html

Start GIT, then X-Plane. You should have 3 green LED's. Select the aircraft you wish to use with GIT in X-Plane and get to the virtual cockpit. Once the MCP PRO tab become enabled, you either use a pre built config for the aircraft if available (found in the Downloads section of the website) or click the FS Default button on the MCP PRO tab if its a standard X-Plane aircraft (remember to enable the MCP PRO in GIT).

  • Steve - I cannot get past the installation instructions as I am only getting 1 green LED. I cannot find this file...2) For DRE Mimic Mode to work, the DataRef Editor Plugin must be physically removed from X-Plane. Disabling it will not work.  I go to the plugin folder and I see a folder called dataref but it is just a bunch of words when I open it. Is this the one I remove?

No. It sounds like you haven't installed that particular plugin so you can ignore that part of the instructions.

PS The other LED's should go green when X-Plane is started.

  • so where exactly should your file be put on my system?

    Hi,

If you are referring to the GIT Plugin, it is installed during the setup process, you should have confirmed its location during setup (e.g. the X-Plane directory). If you installed it correctly, you should see a GIT Plugin directory under resources/plugins of the X-Plane directory.

Note that the GoFlight Interface Tool should be installed in c:\program files (x86).

  • ok I will try installation again as I don't think the file was put in the plugins folder of x-plane...Thanks Steve.
  • Steve - I did mention that I was installing this in xplane 11 correct? When I purchased the GIT I still had Xplane 10...is that an issue?

    Thanks,

    Mike

  • Its not an issue so long as you have downloaded version 1.8 of GIT.

    Best wishes
