SimConnect yellow with P3DV2.2 using 2.0.1131.0

I don't have legacy SimConnect installed on my PC, I'm using the managed SimConnect built into P3DV2.2 ... do I need to install legacy SimConnect?

Also, the only documentation I have is from 3/3/2013 ... is there anything more recent?

Cheers, Rob.

EDIT: I have donated as I think this project is well worth it.

UPDATE: I was able to solve my SimConnect issue ... but still not able to find any more recent documentation?

    Cheers, Rob.

    Hi Rob,

The yellow light normally means an error has occurred but nothing to worry about. Worry when its Red!

The latest documentation is on this web site, on the menu called User Guide.

    Best wishes
    Steve

Thanks Steve, I was looking at that documentation ... was hoping for a more detailed PDF.

For example, ON, OFF, HOLD in terms of button press ... is ON really = ButtonPressDown?  and OFF = ButtonPressUp?  Or is it something different?

FYI, I got a few "Object reference not set to an instance" errors during a detective session (using the A2A C172).

Thanks again for your prompt response and product.

    Cheers, Rob.

Hello, I'm also having an issue with P3D v2.2 where my simconnect light is yellow. The other two lights are green and the aircraft is correctly identified in the Aircraft section. The tab for my MCPPRO is greyed out so I can't activate anything or use it.

I just downloaded the GFConfig tool so I have the latest version of that which is supposed to be compatible with P3Dv2.2.

The yellow light just signifies an error has been received. You can normally ignore it.

Is P3D in sim mode i.e. you have an aircraft loaded and the virtual cockpit is visible. If not the tab will stay greyed out.

Hello, yes I am in the sim with an aircraft loaded at the virtual cockpit.

Is the MCP PRO detected on the status tab? Can you also copy and paste the log from the log tab.

    Yes, it indicated MCPPRO: 1

Here is my log, this was with the default King Air 350, thanks:
