  • i did that what you said but i´m getting the same error and this is my new clean config.
  • Ok, I'm going to have to add some debug code to GIT to determine why this is not working for you. I'll get it to you asap.

    Best wishes

  • good news , i put it DataRefs back into plugins and deactivated Gizmo64 and i try it again with b738 and its work and everythinks fine. but still i have problem with IXEG as i said at biginning and GIT not working.

  • I'll check with the author of the config for the IXEG to confirm it still works OK.
  • I can confirm that the IXEG is working still in XP 11.11

Almost every time I see that GFDEVHWTYPE_ error message it is mostly due to a failed import, corrupted file or an aircraft got updated and it can't find the dataref anymore.

This sounds like a windows permissions or Defender issue. Is he running under an admin acount on his PC? Have we excluded Xplane folder and GIT folders from Windows defender or other antivirus?

    That would be my guess.

  • Try right clicking the zip file for the profile and go to properties on his PC and see if there is a message about " This file came from another computer and has been blocked" and click the unblock button..

  • i tried what slayer recommended but still i´m getting same error ? as i said i think my problem is GIZMO64.
before i update the IXEG GIT its worked. now as you know i have to deactivated GIZMO64 to run GIT with x-plane aircrafts.
  • that aircraft will not work without Gizmo unfortunately. I had updated my IXEG too but npt having a Gizmo problem. We had a similar issue when I first made this profile.

have you loaded the IXEG without git to make sure its activated?
    Steve McNitt
  • Yes , and everything is fine without git
  • I do deinstall ixeg and reinstall it again let's see what happens .
  • naser do you have xplane 10 or 11 or do you have both installed?
    Steve McNitt
  • I have x plane 11 only
  • Slayer, have you tried importing the config via the Wizard to see if GIT exhibits the same behaviour he is seeing? If you have and its OK, I'm suspecting some other add-on of interfering with GIT.
  • I reinstall IXEG and still I got the same problem as before with GIT
  • Yes I recently reformated my HD bit not my xplane hdd so I had to import it again but I didn't use the wizzard. This profile uses a start event so the first time you import it I believe you need to restart GIT so it works properly.

I think you might have to manually copy over datarefs.txt and commands.txt to the aircraft folder because if it can't see some datarefs the profile will not work
    Steve McNitt
  • Steve - those files are copied over automatically from your config (although the names are different, they are renamed and copied correctly)

Naser - can you disable all other addons except for GIT and the IXEG and see if that helps the issue. Could you also attach the Commands.txt and Datarefs.txt files from the IXEG aircraft folder so I can check they are correct.

    Thx
    Steve
  • I'll try it tomorrow morning and let you know

    Best regards
    Naser
  • I tried GIT without other addons but still the same error and wizard not working as well.

I just remembered something with IXEG. Had conflict problem with GIT and autogate plugin (that is sometimes included in free airports,so clearing plugins folder will not fix because it loads from scenery). Can you please post a copy of your log.txt from xplane.
    Steve McNitt
  • best regards
    Log.txt 73.5K
  • Your Commands and Datarefs files are correct. So what remains to be checked is whether you are using autogate which Slayer says clashes with GIT.

Slayer - can you point me to some free scenery that uses autogate so I can track down the error and fix that particular issue.

    Thx
    Steve

PS: I have added more checks and error reporting into the forthcoming new version of GIT which may shed some light on what is going wrong for you with the IXEG.
  • Most of the MisterX6 airports are using autogate KBOS, KLAX etc. They all use autogate and include a plugin within the scenery folder.

  • Hi Naser,

A new version of GIT is available for download which I think will fix your problems. Download from your account in the normal way.

    Best wishes
    Steve
  • Thanks for support.

    Have nice weekend
  • Hello Steve, i tried new GIT but still the same Wizard not working and i Unzip the file that you gave it to me then on the MCP PRO tab, click import and select the MCP PRO xml file. I did but some of displays working some not and switches are not working and i getting new error massage.
  • if you do it the manual way need to open detective first and import the bespoke events first. Also need to restart GIT after that because there is a start event in there.
    Steve McNitt
  • A new version of GIT is available now that fixes Gizmo issues. Install that and double check you have the correct download for the IXEG (probably best to re-download it to be sure!).

    Best wishes
    Steve
