  • OK. Can you confirm the directory c:\program files (x86)\goflight is empty. If it isn't, quit FSX SE. Delete the directory c:\program files (x86)\goflight and then start FSX SE and again test the altitude knob on the MCP PRO to see if the displays light up.
  • I uninstalled all GoFlight software. (Btw it was installed in my D:/ where my PMDG NGX was installed)
Then I started FSX SE and the displays did not light up.
  • Smiley is the D Drive

Great, we now have a clean system. Do the following:

    1) Install GIT into c:\goflight and not into the NGX directory and not into c:\program files (x86)\goflight
    2) Unzip the attached file into c:\goflight so that GFDev.dll appears in c:\goflight
    3) Start FSX SE and load up the NGX to the Virtual Cockpit.
    4) Confirm that the MCP PRO is not working
    5) Start GIT using run as Administrator. If the MCP PRO does not light up, enable it in the MCP PRO tab within GIT.
    6) Test the MCP PRO.
  • I just wanted to Install the GIT but it automaticly installs it into the D drive. Is that a problem?
  • Answer ✓
You can change the installation path during setup.
  • When I doubleclick the exe-file, and accept license agreement, and click install, it does not prompt for installation location... Installs automatically into the D-drive:....GoFLight. Would it be ok to drag it into a selfmade folder c-Goflight after installation into d is completed?
  • Answer ✓
Yes. Just move the contents to c:\goflight.
  • Thank you so much for you support and patients :). It is all working fine now. We are very glad.
I am very happy for such a good support :)

    Great news! :)
  • One more question. I planned to install Linda for a EFIS I will buy (not GF) When I install Linda are there going to be Problems with the MCP ?
  • There may be some issues because LINDA can operate some GoFlight hardware switches and buttons but not LED's or displays. So long as you disable the MCP PRO in LINDA (if its recognised), all should work OK.

    Best wishes
    Steve
