GF46 and GF166
Before I finally declare these two Goflight modules as$350 junk, I have to give this one more try!!
Using Xplane 11 and WIN10.
I have these two older modules from when goflight equipment was black and rather than push knobs there was actually a large and small knob. GF46 and GF166A VRP. (Much more realistic) (.jpg attached)
I have 10 other modules including 2 GF166's all in the grey colour that are working fine.
These two modules are completely unresponsive.
The modules ARE recognized during start up of windows 10 and the lights and LED's are cycled through. In GIT the modules are recognized and have TAB's.
When I try to enable them in GIT, there is no response. The "Identify" button in GIT doesn't light them up either.
I have the USB 2.0 ports. I have the powered USB hubs. Everything else is operating without the GF drivers so I don't have them installed. In fact I am hesitant to install the drivers because I don't want to negatively affect the other modules that I have working. Since the modules are being recognized by GIT then I shouldn't need the drivers???
I have read a lot of posts on the issues with these two modules that go back years so I know it might be a long shot, but is there anything else worth trying??
Any suggestions are appreciated!
Thanks,
Dave
