  • Forget my last question, I see the NGX/747/77 that the NGX means the 737
    Tom
  • Yes that's correct.
  • You must work day and night.

    Here is what it said.
  • Hi Tom,

I have reset your install counts. Please try again.

Can you also start a new discussion for different subjects, otherwise the information gets lost for other people :)

    Best wishes
    Steve
  • No problem
  • Hey Steve regarding the database creation I was able to create a database with FSX SE default scenery. I later updated the Sim databases with the data from http://www.aero.sors.fr/ this is when I got errors and couldn't update anything more. Could there be a connection you think between the two? As I right now the program is a paperweight after I updated everything.
  • What errors are you getting?

    Best wishes

Each of the database creation menu items. Click Start and instantly get an Error message. Going to reinstall it now. Never got the Airport Database option to work. Clicked it and 3 seconds later the program exits.
I have two sims on my computer. P3D and FSX SE. I was getting errors running the Database tools on P3D so I figured I'd give FSX SE. Default database no updates. No problems except for the Our Airports Database. As I said before the Program just exits. So I updated the NavData for FSX SE and now I get errors for each database update.
Locks at this point. With P3D.

  • OK, if it still fails, let me know exactly what you did from aero.sors.fr so I can reproduce the issue and track down the problem.

Same errors. P3D => Updated Magdec.bgl World Navaids package and ILS/Rwy Regional Updates. Updated them all. With FSX SE Did the same as above except I also did the Fixes update.
  • Looking at Windows Event Log for something else this caught my eye. I'm guessing its the error associated with the "Our Airports" CTD.

  • Two things I've noticed
Faulting module name: KERNELBASE.dll, version: 10.0.17134.165, time stamp: 0xfa43f4b2
    Faulting module path: C:\WINDOWS\System32\KERNELBASE.dll
I'm looking at Kernelbase.dll its in that folder and its the same version listed. Only difference is Caps Lock.

The other is C:\Programs\Nav Data Tool\NavData_Tool.exe This is not where I have this app installed.
  • OK, it could be our airports have changed there website and download facility. I will look into it shortly.

    Best wishes
    Steve
  • Ok, in Settings change the Our Airports website address from "http" to "https". Also make sure you have a directory called c:\temp.

    Best wishes
