G45 and G46 Not displaying after new windows update

My GF45 and GF46 modules are not lighting up, since I did the last Windows update about 5 days ago. I have done EnhancedPowerManagementEnabled where ever you see a 1 Change it too a 0. (I only saw one line to change from 0 to 1, and I changed it). It did not help. Can you give me step by step directions on how to find GFWindows8Fixer.exe on my system? I am running Windows 10 64bit Home edition. Thanks Rob

  • Hi Rob,

Its in the directory where the Goflight drivers are installed, usually C:\Program Files (x86)\GoFlight

  • Thanks Steve. That worked!! All modules are working fine except for GF166. I actually gave up on that one, and had it disconnected now for months. Any update on a fix for the GF166? It shows up on GIT, but does not display. Should it be plugged into a shared powered 2.0 USB Hub, or directly to the computer? Any suggestions to get it working again would be appreciated.
  • Just search the forum for GF166 and you will see lots of ideas on getting the GF166 stable. Its a hardware issue, not GIT.

  • I guess it is called Windows8"FIXER" for a reason. All Goflight modules are now " fixed" and working like they are supposed to. If excellent customer service was an olympic sport Steve, you would win a GOLD metal. Thanks again for all your help. Rob
