DHC6 .xml files for GIT

Here are my Twin Otter files (Aerosoft):

Includes MCP-Pro ... got most of the switches/knobs ... forgot to do boost pumps.  Included files here:

Aerosoft_DHC6.xml

Aerosoft_DHC6_GFMCPPRO.xml

BespokeEvents.xml (don't NOT overwrite your existing BespokeEvents.xml, merge the file)

BespokeVariables.xml (stubs only - again, merge the file)

Settings.xml (don't NOT overwrite your existing Settings.xml, merge the file)

Set to "Aerosoft_DHC6" so any variant that starts with this should work.

Feel free to do whatever you like with these Steve.

More aircraft to come later.

Cheers, Rob.

  • Hi Rob,

There is an Export function in detective for exporting Bespoke Events and then people can use the Import function in Detective to load them in easily instead of manually merging the files.

    Best wishes

    Steve

  • Hi Steve,

Yes, the Aerosoft_DHC6.xml is the Bespoke export ... I include the other files in case folks want to merge rather than import.

I still haven't figured out what the BespokeVariables.xml is about yet ... just need to read docs ... I use Bespoke Variables but nothing ever seems to save to this file other than aircraft identifier string ... maybe related to Power, variable initialization?

Forgive my ignorance, just haven't read up on that file yet.

    Cheers, Rob.
  • Hi Rob,

BespokeVariables.xml simply stores the names of bespoke variables if you have renamed them.

    Best wishes

    Steve

  • Oh I see ... nice touch Steve.  Right now I just manually track.  Will try meaningful names in next aircraft.

    Cheers, Rob.
