How to clear a setting? No option to remove once set? (X-Plane)

How can you "clear" an assignment after setting it - so that it subsequently doesn't do anything?

When you first access an option the dropdown selected item is empty but once set there is no option to re-select the blank assignment from the list of items in the dropdown - nor can I find a NO_EVENT parameter or something similarly named.

has a screenshot that implies there is a "_NO_DATA" parameter but it's not in any of the lists

Is this forum monitored by the developer - the website says no e-mail support - post in the forum but no response on what seems like a simple enquiry?

Look for No Event, No Action, and No Data entries in the appropriate fields. On the other hand, you can just erase the entries in each field.

Hi,

I cannot find any event that has those words in - what do you mean by erase the entries?

Usually in an interface like this there is dropdown item that is blank if there is not a clear button and you can then remove the event / setting, no?

That works - thank you.

I was in the middle of exporting the XML as a way round this - manually editing it in notepad and re-importing it back in that is not very reliable and seems to need a restart to actually remove the setting that is being replace.
