  • I checked the registry with regedit and for the two modules i attached for tests power management is disabled. Hence the w8fixer did his job. I then connected them to a w7 laptop where i installed the gf config prgrm, same problems. I really think whether something happened to my modules, a power problem during a…
  • I have tried once with all my modules and none gets any feedback from x-plane. It is a one way street, from modul to x-plane. Will contact gf. Thanks, Thomas
  • Yes, I am sure. It is clearly labelled that it is a 2.0 usb connector.
  • Hi Steve Not giving up, I admire that. I am sure that I have plugged in a 2.0 USB Connection, at least it says that. It is a MSI Board Z170A Gaming M7. Is there any possibility to check whether it is really a 2.0 USB? Thanks, Thomas
  • Steve I have done this w8fixer thing now about 30 times and no luck. I am frustrated and angry that only because I migrated to W10 my 13 GF modules do not work anmyore. I blame GF for not fixing this. I cannot believe that nowadays it is not possible to write drivers that work in a modern environment. Plug and Play was a…
  • I could find two in the w8fixer one with -040 at the end and one with -060 at the end (see att.). However I could not find any corresponding number in the device manager. By the HID compliant devices I could anyway not check the power management box as they are not cklickable, greyed out in a way. Regards, Thomas
  • I do not know which is the GF device. I attached a picture with the open where it says GoFlight virtual HID keboard. There I cannot change any power management as you can see. This tab is missing. There are others above: some HID konform and some USB Eingabegeräte. The HID konform have a power managment tab but the option…
  • OK, from scratch. I have no LED light when selecting the modul in GF Config. However I can use the MCP in x-plane's default B737 but there is no feedback to the modul's display. When I start up the pc the lights and displays correctly flash as in the past, soemone said this kind of domino effect, however the display do…
  • Hi Steve It's me again. I am still trying to get my GF modules running with the GF Interface Tool. I have done everything you proposed wih no luck. Attached is a screenshot showing what your programme shows on the stat tab. Maybe you can see anything. The GF config tool recognises the MCP modul. Also the GF interface tool…
  • Hi Steve Thanks for your help but nothing worked. I give up, I do not have the time to spend hours or better said I don't t want spend hours. I understand your design approach to fullfil the needs of complex aircraft. However there was a time when I spent more in fixing and tweaking than flying. I even built a home…
  • Thank you Roberto. Glad to hear that it runs with you. Of course I have installed the GF Interface Tool for x-plane. As I said the two modules I started with are recognised by the tool (3 green lights) and I can open the corresponding tabs (MCP, LGT). However no led lights on the modules, but I can dial in the course,…
