Did you get the beta files from Majestics website and copy them over? You need to go to this page in the "user area", put in your key and email address to get access to the files. http://majesticsoftware.com/mjc8q400/support.html

I have the non pro version as well and that's what I started making the profile on but it hasn't been installed since I started using P3DV3
-
I'm using the pro version 1.018. Note that there was an additional download from majestic to update some files and that was 1.018b2 - Those are needed to make it work with P3D3.1. Downloaded that through the user area on their website.

I looked at Robs comments - especially the part where he said he may "revert"(implying he upgraded from Window 7?) it jogged my memory and it mirrors the problems that I had when I had done the upgrade install from 7 to 10. While I'm no expert - from recollection I was looking at the .NET as the culprit, other people were…

I am using 2.26.1 driver , could that be his problem?
-
I tried what you suggested that and it is working fine. I checked the files in the zip I sent you with Notepad++ and enabled the view for end of line symbos, it shows CR/FLF after each line. Compared the 2 sets of files against each other and they look identical in size. Seems like I remember this problem happend to me…

I'm currently using P3D v3.1

Sure here is the updated version. re-exported

Unfortunately I have only 1 EFIS, MCPPro and 2 166's. Space is at a premium so I don't have a full simpit either. I'm like you. If it's a new and shiny aircraft I get it. Goflight + GIT provides a perfect way to use their hardware on nearly any aircraft which is why I ultimately purchased it vs dedicated 737 hardware. The…
-
Glad you got it working, are you making a full blown simpit for the Q400 or just a general type. I'd like to see a vid of your setup once you get everything working :) I was going through the mouse events one at a time and cataloging them. Right now it's just text format but I want to put it into a google spreadsheet that…

Did you try the mouse click event I posted above? Works perfect. The only reason to use an actual value would be if you had a rheostat that sent an actual resistance value . Goflight doesn't do that so if you are using an RP 48 the left click /right click works fine. The sim will determine the stops. Mouse clicks are a…

Rob try sending a mouse click event 157 OhdPanel_gauge:mjc84_main.dll Sending a left click will turn the know CCW a notch and sending it a right click will turn it CW The other dimmers are close by that mouse click event if your trying to program those as well. It will work ok if you have a infinite rotary to just send…
-
The dimmers use HEX I believe 0 to 0xFFFF I wasn't sure how to do this or if it's even possible with GIT. The easier way( well maybe not) is to use the mouse evet to turn the knob left or right. The problem is here that there are over 100 mouse events to sift through to find what you need. I'm cataloging them as time…

Sure, Thanks again for your great software

I've got a working profile for the Q400 now using an EFIS and MCPPro. Have a few more things to work out then I'll release it here. Button lighting is kind of rough as they didn't expose everything needed to get the lighting to work. I have managed to get the altitude/heading/course to display properly now. Unsure how this…

Just tested with 2.1.17 working great. Thanks again
-
You got the FSX version if it's looking for simconnect, It's the last download link on the download page.

Not too big of a deal , once you get the detective portion done, I could make a bespoke event to increment it by hundreds. I did manage to find a datarefs list on the SDK page so I could see what the expected result would be but a lot of the info is still missing. Not sure how you are getting this thing working the SDK and…
-
Not sure if this one is a bug or Xp limitation either but the default altitude select for the MCP Pro is only incrementing 10ft at a time, the rotate parameter doesn't seem to do the acceleration when you turn it fast like in FSX/P3d
-
Small bug- when using the heading and course knobs rotating through 359-1 degree, Turning to the right the display will increment 359 360 001 , but when you turn the knobs left it increments 001 000 359. 0 and 360 are equivalent but shouldn't it display the same for left and right? I think it should be 360 for both?

The interface doesn't connect to X-plane, I looked in the plugins menu and the GIT plugin doesn't load. I checked the log.txt and I see this: H:\X-Plane 10/Resources/plugins/GIT Plugin/64/win.xpl : Error Code = 126 : The specified module could not be found. not sure what to do from here. I tried it on the latest version of…

Don't know if you saw this in the new 10.40 Beta, might make a XP detective a lot easier: * ANY App can now send in the string (by UDP, to port 49,000) “RREF” plus a dataref, and X-Plane will then send that dataref string, and its value, BACK TO THAT IP ADDRESS EVERY FRAME! So, we can get unlimited datarefs from X-Plane…

A quick suggestion for your profiles Rob. On rotaries like altitude and airspeed you can set the "input action" to ROTATE for both the clockwise and counterclockwise to get acceleration on the knob like in the PMDG. What it does is the faster you turn the knob the faster it will increment ( that way you can quickly set for…

This is fantastic, can't wait. I complained to Philip from the XPX dev team at Flightsim con about total lack of Goflight support and now you come through with this. Everything up til this point has been piecemeal or unsupported after a short time. They just recently opened up XPX so you can read stuff across a network too…
-
On the MCPPro I export a lot that way I have a kind of backup in case. I've had the same issue before where if there is a crash and you have the detective open it will wipe out your work. Usually ther eis a crash because there is too much displaying on the detective too fast and it overloads....

Yep it works I just tried it out on the A319 and A318. If I could make a suggestion that you shorten the profile name to "Aerosoft Airbus" and re-export, that way it will automatically work with the whole family A318/A319/A320/A321 I've done it on my machine but don't want to post it here as it's your hard work and you…
-
Rob have you tried these on the A319/318 versions, I'm sure aerosoft repurposes a lot of the same stuff but haven't gotten around to testing on these yet but it is a cheap upgrade if you already owned the 320/321. I actually prefer the smaller planes because they are great for shorter hops.
-
Any luck with the Q400 Rob? I've tried a couple of times do do a config for it but sending LVARS does nothing and there are no events that I can find.
-
Majestic haven't made any info available to make it work. There's a few posts available out it ive r on their forum
-
If it installed correctly then you need to go to your goflight directory and run GFconfig and set your devices to "compatible add on"
