yes, problem was rotaries were not set to rotate consistently for clockwise & counterclockwise for all rotaries. i wonder how all profiles got like this? Everything was set and working before. Anyway, shame on not to have verified such a basic thing before opening the thread. thanks!
-
Honestly i didn't double check that since it was working... mmmm will check and report back
-
ok will try that and report back. thanks for the suggestion.
-
but if a create a bespoke and associate such bespoke to the display, now i can turn it on or off but how do i show data on the display if the field is used by the bespoke?
-
sounds a wise decision to me :)

Steve Regards circumstances for IAS blanked out. First of all i should clarify i did not try modeling the 757 on the goflight mcp myself and haven't seen what this aircraft programming datarefs/commands is all about yet. I just wanted to point out that the avionics on the 757 are more complex than the ones found on the 737…

Steve Here is the LES SAAB340 for xplane, MCPPRO. regardsManuel Merelles
-
Hi Steve, Yes, will do! This is great about your goflight app. Sharing profiles between the community. I will upload the saab profile when back at home later today. regardsManuel
-
Hi Martin I do have the mcp pro working for the saab, including all AP modes buttons (nav, ias, hdg, etc) illuminated when active. I also have all rotaries IAS, CRS1, CRS2, ALTITUDE, VS DIAL, working just fine. If you are still unable to get it to work let me know, i can share you here my profile for you to import and test…

mac user here. i did install bootcamp on my imac to run git and get my gp-mcppro working again. I love git and my mcp-pro running at its full potential BUT bootcamp does not deliver the same xplane performance than running os x (i am loosing 10-15 fps) i would love to see git for mac. mac users represent around 35% of the…
-
yes you are correct, this thread became Manuel's one :) maybe you can split it in two not to miss for others what already discussed? or i will open another threat for the rotary acceleration.
-
Steve I just want you congratulate for the acceleration on the rotaries, it work brilliant. Couple of fast turns and you can do a 360. Very nice. One small doubt, when using the altitude rotary with xplane custom command it accelerates quite fast. But when using the altitude rotary with the bespoke +/-100 routine over the…

thanks!!! will download and test

thanks, great news!!

Good idea But i think the SET+ operation does not support ALTITUDE_DATAREF + BESPOKE VARIABLE it only supports for ALTITUDE_DATAREF + entered value Anyway this will not solve heading, speed, course issues, you need 1 / 10 multiplier here. It will require another button. I think best would be still trying to understand the…

http://forums.x-pilot.com/forums/topic/9357-gizmo-x-plane-crash-when-sending-datarefs/ Tried and tried to find those MCPPRO variables to know the ROTATE state for use them on the besproke code to automatize 100/1000 increments but unable :(When you are able, i will be glad if you can help me how to find/use them
-
This is the thread we are following up ixeg/gizmo just in case you are interested. Another guy did a lua script to write some basic ixeg/datarefs and it also crashes xplane depending how fast he writes. So yes, it seems the issue is on their side. Lets see...

ohh i see! thanks a lot again

Steve I can not see what the rotary status is, could be my fault, so i am trying to toggle a bespoke variable via alt push. Bespoke syntaxis: !ALT_MULTIPLIERif bespoke Var 0 = 1 Next Else Next SkipBespoke Var 0 = 0Bespoke Var 0 = 1! My understanding is: if value is 1 execute next line to set 0 otherwise skip and execute…

I did quick altitude +/-100 bespoke test and works brilliant SO HAPPY :D How to i check the ROTATE ROTARY state to make it 100 or 1000? what variable tells me the rotary state? I can do 100 / 1000 for the altitude and 1 / 10 for the heading. Amazing stuff
-
woa fantastic, downloading and testing now
-
I had them enabled. I also clocked it going from 3000 ft to 25000 ft takes 4.7 minutes. Insane, your fingers hurt. what does exactly the SET+ feature? i tried writing a bespoke of the altitude dataref +100, but it only works for the first clic
-
thanks will check for that!!
-
Hi Steve thanks for the update, i have tested it and it still crashes the same. We have opened a thread on the ixeg forum already lets see what they come up with. i have created another profile for the FJS737-200 and it works fantastic. I have to polish it a bit for sharing it to the community. One last question/advice…

thanks a lot!

i did replace all "GIT PLUGIN" folder existing on the xplane/resources/plugins as per the new one you provide me. My structure is xplane/resources/plugins/git plugin/32 & 64 bit subfolders. The files within 32&64 are dated both today 11:14hs

tested, still crashes :(
-
ok great!
-
I am at the office now, i will be at home in 3hs, Testing and report back. thanks for your prompt support!!
-
yes i did test dozen of times writing the ixeg dataref via datarefeditor sending 1 0 1 0 1 0 much faster even than flipping the swtich calmed and it never ever crashes, and flipping the switch on the mcp giving it 3 or 4 seconds in between always crashes xplane. Sometimes it crashes on the first try, sometimes it crashes…
