I'm sorry I shouted the title. Left the caps lock key on.

Any forecast of an available date?
-
Thanks Steve. Like I said, I've read and reread the instructions for the Detective but am still unable to find the variables and events. BTW, what kind of variable is an XMLVAR?
-
Thanks fsam. Printed out for later study. A lot there to understand.
-
So far I've not been able to reveal the events and variables necessary to program the managed mode on and off using the detective. If anyone knows the secret to uncovering these I would really appreciated your help.
-
Got it working, Thanks again.
-
David, Thank you for getting me going in the right direction.
-
That would be a great help. Thanks.
-
Thank you.
-
I'm sorry to keep bothering you. Is this to be installed in the community folder? That's where I have it now.
-
What is the module you're referring to?
-
Thank You. It worked.
-
Thank you. Learning slowly but surely.

David, I am making progress. I'm stuck on how to get a pushbutton on the RP48 to change the autopilot altitude increment between 100 and 1000. It seems I need a Custom Event I can't find. It is: A32NX_FCU_ALT_INCREMENT_TOGGLE Is there a way to input an event if you cant find it in the list of events.

I think I figured it out. The log file showed and entry from the known lvars that would't load. I deleted that file and started over and all worked.
-
David, Thanks for your reply. Not sure I can work that hard. Ohlen

Please tell us how you fixed it.

Time to eat some crow and apologize. As I worked with this I recalled Steve (the developer), not Steve G. (who had responded, also) saying that sometimes it took the WASM modules a long time to respond. So, I started MSFS and when it reached the normal hang spot I took a nap. When I returned, the sim was running and then,…

Yes. Downloaded and installed the file in the community folder.

I deleted any program or file with polypot or GoFlight or GIT in the name. Then cleaned thr registry, downloaded and installed the latest GIT but the result is the same. MSFS won't start with the module installed in the community folder. I'm stumped,

Steve, Thanks for your reply. I appreciate you interest. 1. Is the location of your Goflight Interface Tool in: "C:\Program Files\GoFlight\GoFlight Interface Tool FS2020.exe" ? Yes 2. Is the location of your Goflight Interface Tool module in your Community folder Mine is in…

My problem is MSFS won't even start with the module installed in the community folder so I never get to start the GIT. Any suggestions are appreciated.
-
Since I see no other posts like this, could I be the only user having this problem? BTW, I tried reinstalling the GIT but did not fix the problem.
-
I got it working. Thanks.
-
I assume you mean a new version of the module and not a new version of the GIT. Is that correct?
-
Will do.
-
No go. MSFS freezes up during the startup cycle.
-
I solved this by ON=No Data, Off=No Data, Button Action=Nothing, Light Data=Nothing, Light Value=0 or 1 or whatever. It was simple but took me a long time to find the simple solution.
-
Nope, don't have GF Config on the computer. Thanks.
-
Thanks for the installing the new events and variables.
