Hello Steve Well the joysticks showed up? Between the time they weren't there and now I have added an MCP pro TQ6 and several other modules. Could it be by adding the TQ6 it turned on the joystick area? Anyway for now it is working Thanks Terry
-
Hello Steve I want to be sure I understand your question. They all show up in the Microsoft game controllers list and can be calibrated in the properties section of that list like any other joystick? Thanks Terry
-
They are listed as hid compliant game controller human interface devices

Thanks Steve Can I set standard sim connect vars as well as Lars. Terry

Hi Steve Any progress on this? Terry

Hello Steve I had not as I do not have a mcp or mcp pro. I did down load the flies to study how you setup the events and variables. It looks like you used the "autopilot heading lock" and the "autopilot Navone lock" for the light data vars and bespoke vars for the APR and REV modes. I tried the heading lock and Navone lock…
-
Hello Steve I have really tried not to bother you with this but I am out of ideas. I am looking for variables that can be used in the light data field for the current mode of the autopilot in the A2A C172. I have all the switches working to select each mode but have not been able to find a good light data source. I have…

Hello Steve Is there a way when using key presses for bespoke events to specify how long the keys are held? For example one of the virtual buttons requires that it be held for .25 sec. Many keystroke mapping type programs have a setting for the duration of the keystroke and I was wondering if you provided for such? If not,…

Hi Steve Thank you for taking the time to fix. Terry
-
Hello Steve The * version works for the Baro. You can also see the button move in the virtual cockpit. I tried the * key press on the alt and hdg buttons that had been working before and they also worked but interestingly the buttons in the VC did not move. It is strange that that one button is different? I am curious.…

Forgot to say. It was not there after the uninstall
-
It was December 21, 2009. I uninstalled and installed the 11-1 you sent me today and the inputsimulator.dll file is still dated the same December 21, 2008. Thanks Terry
-
Hello Steve Afraid we went backwards with that one. The sendkey* did not work and all of the other key presses that were working quit. Thanks Terry
-
Hi Steve Thank you. If it makes any difference, I am using Prepar3d v2.5 with both hotfixes. Terry
-
Hello Steve I just used the test function and it did not work. The key sequence is control-shift-B mapped to the Baro button in a2a configurator. Thanks Terry
-
Hi Steve I used the a2a configuration tool for the c172 to map the autopilot buttons. They are all control-shift-letter. If you have the 172, the configuration tool is in a tools folder in the p3d/a2a/ folder. Yes the device is enabled and several of the buttons work. I forgot to use the test function but I will. Thanks…

Hi Rob Thank you! Terry
-
Hi Rob I would like to see how you did that but link is broken. Thanks Terry
-
Hello Steve I understand that the presets can be used, but I want to fully understand this. Did I not guess the 4 configurations with my two guess? Thanks Terry
-
Hi Steve So once enabled for an aircraft, they will always be enabled unless specifically disabled for that same aircraft? Thanks Terry
-
Hello Steve I think that would be a good idea. Also is there a way to set so all of my devices default to enabled rather than disabled? Sometimes when I start the interface a device that had been previously enabled is disable Do? Is that the way it should work? Thanks Terry
-
Hello Steve Color me dumb. That was it. I knew it had to be something simple! I started with the rotaries so never went to the button tab. Thanks again Terry
-
Hello Steve My screen looks identical to yours? I have tried two different rp48 units and all of my 48 units (I have three) show up in goflight config with nothing assigned to them there. The identify function shows I am working on the correct unit. Any other way to trouble shoot? Is there a way to see the raw output of…

Could you please send screen shot of the bespoke event setup screen?
-
Hello Steve That is exactly what I did?? On your test did the knob in the virtual cockpit turn? Did you set anything for the rotary action section of the rp48r tab? I have a switch that sets the lvar at 0 or 32 so my starting point should be ok as long as I don't try to brighten after switching on. If I had hair I would be…
-
Hello Steve How do you set rotary switches. I am working on a2a c172 panel lights. Per a2a these are controlled by a lvar panellightknob with values for 0 to 32. If I do two bespoke events with off setting a value of 0 and on setting a value of 32 and assign these events to a on/off switch they work as off and full bright.…
-
Hello Steve That worked. I think I am doing something wrong as I tried those yesterday and they didn't work. Do you have to click the save settings before you go back to sim to test? Same question with restart? I noticed when working now that settings I had changed had reverted to the old ones, so my question about saving.…
-
Hello Steve Thank you. I will try those. I assume you are using the goflight configurator for that? I had tried that first but didn't work, I will retry. My main question is the lgt three position switch. Under the lgt tab there is no selection available for the center position of the switch? Thanks Terry
-
Hello Steve Making progress on setting up my a2a c172. I have added a bunch of modules one of which is the lgt. I am tring to set up the fuel selector switch and although listed in in the goflight configuration program, I cannot find a wat to set the center position. I have set up 3 bespoke events setting the Lvars to…

Hello Steve I think I found the problem. I removed definition for S1 and S2 in the A2A_C172.gfc file in the goflight directory. Since the secm cannot be configured with the goflight config then this file tells the switches what to do and they are all set up to send the standard events. When we added bespoke events for S1…
