Autobrake Control via P8 buttons
Hi Steve. I have tried unsuccessfully to program two GoFlight P8 buttons to the AutoBrake rotary selector on the PMDG737. The GoFlight program has commands for Autobrake Dec and Autobrake Inc but they only work for default aircraft.
Can this rotary selector be changed via a button command and if so, how? Thanks.

If you look at the autobrake example here: https://www.pollypotsoftware.org.uk/support/user-guide/user-guide-git/19-operating/37-configuring-goflight-devices-examples-pmdg-ngx.html you will see the event needed. You need to use this event with the clockwise and anti-clockwise actions. You would need at least two buttons, one going clockwise and the other anti-clockwise.
Best wishes
Steve
If I choose EVT_MPM_AUTOBRAKE_SELECTOR it's the same problem. Can you try with a P8 and tell me what selections work please?

It transpires the module is disabled by default and requires the user to enable it before any commands can be assigned to buttons. But if you just disabled the drop-downs until the unit was enabled it would have been obvious it needed enabling. Just something to consider please because it's possible the chap having problems with his MCP is also because he doesn't realise it has to be enabled first.
