  • Amazing I now have the Go-Flight MCP working and also The SECM Switch Panel, the LGT II panel but best of all the Go-Flight EFIS works . I did have to add this

    [SDK]
    EnableDataBroadcast=1

    into the the 737_Options.ini

    Many many thanks for all your hard work in such a short time.

    Hi Steve, thank you for the new files, nearly everything is working now, but on my LGTII I can not use the flaps and gear. Installed now is version 4.6.1, with other aircraft the LGTII is working. My community is not at its originally place, I copied the folder "pollypotsoftware-flightsimio-module" to my community folder. With the previos versions of your software, the flaps handle was working with pmdg 737, but not the grear handele. Any hints?

    Best wishes

    Peter

    I have fixed the flaps bug, a new version will be out later today. The gear issue, relates to timing. Delay moving to each position and it should work OK. I will resolve.

  • Hi Steve, flaps are working now, thank you. I have a small problem with MCP Pro. I can alter course, heading etc with the knobs of the MCP pro, I can see the new values in the cockpit and autopilot is working as it should. But on the MCP pro the lights shoe only zeroe, IAS/Mach ist black. But ok, I can live with that.

    Gear up/down seems to work with the SECM.

    Thanks again and best wishes

    Peter
  • Hi Peter,

    It sounds like you are missing this in 737_options.ini:

    [SDK]
    EnableDataBroadcast=1

    You can check, by looking for a PMDG SDK entry in the GIT Log.

    Look back through this thread for details on the location of the file (assuming you have the MS Store version - if not let me know what you are using). It should be updated by GIT automatically with the latest two releases.

  • Hi Steve, i added this line several times, after every new start of MSFS and GIT it is deleted, no sign of an PMDG SDK entry in the log, I have several times let MSFs create a new 737-options, no success. I have a MS-store version.

    Do you have GIT and FS2020 shutdown when you add it?
  • Yes, definetly.

  • This is weird. I'm wondering if its some kind of security issue. Another customer had the same problem, but resolved it and never explained how. Can you make the changes and start FS2020 and then quit FS2020 and see if the changes have been lost again. Do not ever start GIT during this test.

    Thx
    Steve
  • Hi Steve, when I start MSFS and quit it again, the line with enable PMDG SDK is still there. But when I start a flight with a PMDG737 and quit then the simulato, it is lost.

    Best wishes Peter
  • Ok, so the 737 is overwriting the changes. This is odd, because I have the Steam version of FS2020 and it works fine. I'm thinking that the changes made, possibly need to be made elsewhere, however other MS Store users don't have the problem and everything works. I'm going to need to think about this one; its very strange!

  • Hi Steve, i am using a german version of windows, could that be a problem?

    Best regards and good night

    Possibly. The last guy who had this problem, I asked him to do the following but not sure if he actually did it (it's documented on this thread):

    Quit GIT and FS2020.
    Rename the directory pmdg-aircraft-737 by adding old to it.
    Start FS2020 and the pmdg-aircraft-737 should be rebuilt (it will take a few minutes). Get to the 737 cockpit and then quit FS2020.

    Start GIT and then FS2020 and see if it updates the ini file correctly.

  • Hi Steve, I tried this several times on sunday and monday, again today. No success. No SDK Line in the ini, after manually adding, it is deleted after starting the sim again.

    I'm not sure what is going on. Perhaps raise a ticket with PMDG, because its there aircraft that is changing it back, not GIT.

  • Hi Steve, as the autopilot is working it does not seem to make sense to look for the reason, PMDG has promised updates, see if something changes then. Thanks for your help!

  • Your ini file looks good.

    GIT should have found this and updated it automatically. Are you saying it didn't?
