  • Can someone please tell me how to overcome this installation problems. I have paid for and downloaded a program I cannot use.
  • I have now messaged you three times regarding an installation problem but so far no response. PLEASE talk to me!! Someone, anyone!
  • Sorry for the late reply. I have been on holiday.

See this for the default community folder locations: https://helpdesk.aerosoft.com/hc/en-gb/articles/5023507568925-How-to-locate-the-Community-folder-in-Microsoft-Flight-Simulator

Unzip the whole zip file including the directories into the community folder.

  • I did as suggested but it didn't work. I unzipped the interface program into the community folder and then sbut I still get a message saying that the .exe file cannot find the community folder! Now what?
  • Are you referring to the setup exe? If so, you can ignore the message now as you have manually installed the module.

  • Thank you Steve but I am still stuck. The MCP doesn't illuminate and I note that the GFC Config panel doesn't list the MCP PRO on the status panel.

In desperation I went looking for the config panel at Pollypot but found myself downloading the interface software I already have so now I am £29.99 down and no further forward! The EFIS panel is shown and works just fine.
  • If its not listed in GIT or GFConfig then its a hardware fault or a Windows configuration fault. Have you tried the MCP in a different USB port?

  • Hi,

I have a couple of issues I am looking to get resolved. I am using P3Dv4.5 Windows 10 PMDG 737NGX.

    1) I believe I pressed on the GF Config file, and now when I open up P3DV4.5 I get dotted lines across the MCP as soon as P3DV4.5 is open. Once I open the PMDG 737NGX the lines turn to 0's. When I then log in to Pollypott GIT, all my modules come to life, but when I try and move tjhe knobs on the MCP, it is as if the old GF config, and Pollypott GIT are both working at the same time. When you turn the knobs, you get all different numbers being displayed, so it is very difficult to know what speed or heading you are on.

    2) When I press the Pollypott GIT, it tells me that there is a new version available. I press OK, and then I am up and running. My last version update was Dec 01, 2019. Is there a new version I should be running, and if yes, how do I get it?

    3) I also have the Pollypott GIT for FS2020. It was last modified Oct 13, 2020. It does not seem to work very well. Is there a newer version for that as well, with more features?

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

    Thanks

    Rob
  • Steve. Yes, I have swopped USB hubs and used a different cable but still no signs of life. This is disappointing. Do you know of anyone who might be able to fix the hardware! I'm not getting any response from Virtualavionics.com where I purchased the original unit. Thanks for your help.
  • I don't unfortunately. If possible test on a different PC to confirm it is the unit itself.
